Lumpkin crowns one state champion along with 6 state placers and takes 2nd place as a team

Nathan Nielsen brought home a second State Champion title this weekend. Jonah Holmes and AJ Scott finished strong as State Runners-up. Kerwin Martinez and Mike Nichols were able to fight back to 3rd place finishes, while Austin Marshall and Hayden Roy finished out the season with 5th place records. The team took 2nd place overall in the 3A division. We are incredibly proud of all the Lumpkin County Men's wrestlers who qualified for State and fought hard all weekend long.
